Is Esha Deol Gearing Up For Her Comeback On TV With Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi?
Bollywood actress Esha Deol who has been away from the silver screen as she explored territory of writing, by penning down a book on parenting and child-diet could make a comeback to the world of acting. Reports suggest, the actress could soon be making her small screen presence felt with a popular mythological soap. As per reports, the actress might make a comeback with the TV show, Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishno Devi-Kahani Mata Rani Ki. News hit the headlines after actress Puja Banerjee and Toral Rasputra exited the show. So now it is reported that the actress might be seen in a pivotal role. 

If everything falls in place and the actress gives nod to the project she will be seen playing Rani Samridhi Devi, mother of Vaishno Devi on the small screen. Esha was seen in a TV reality show in the year 2015, hence if she signs on dotted lines, the actress will mark her comeback on TV in the year 2020. This role was earlier portrayed by actress Toral Rasputra. As per reports in TOI, the actress quit the show before the lockdown, as she was not willing to play the role of a mother to an adult on screen. She said, “Leaps, sudden changes in the storyline and actors quitting are all part of the game because everything depends on ratings. I was aware that Maa Vaishnodevi, too, will go in for a leap, but I did not expect it to happen so suddenly. I have never played mother to an adult.”

Also adding further, she mentioned that as the decision was sudden , she had to shoot for a few portions and then amicably parted ways with the makers. “Since the decision to introduce the leap was sudden, I had to shoot a few scenes with Puja, but I was sure that I wanted to quit. I felt that I’d not be able to look convincing as her mother. It was an amicable decision and the makers understood my point,” she adds. 


Meanwhile actress Puja Banerjee who played the role of Vaishno Devi confirmed with us of  quitting the show. She said, “Yes I have quit the show and it is for personal reasons. I am taking a break from work for some time post marriage.”
