Is Nehha Pendse Quitting Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai? Actress Says, 'I'm Not Surprised'
Nehha Pendse has not been seen in the last few episodes of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai fuelling speculation that she is on her way out.
A bio-bubble is being created for the shoot of the popular Hindi TV soap Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai in Surat. The cameras will soon start rolling as the starcast, Nehha Pendse, Paritosh Tripathi, Aasif Sheikh and Shubhangi Atre reach the show’s sets in Gujarat. Nehha had not been seen on the show in the last few episodes, fuelling speculation that she is on her way out. Neha addresses these rumours in a conversation with Etimes.
Explaining her absence she says, “I am not surprised that such rumours are doing the rounds because I was not visible in the last few episodes. Those were episodes which were old and I wasn’t a part of those shoots. When the episodes were aired, many people messaged me saying they were missing me on screen. I had to explain to them that I would be back soon. I am very much on board and happy doing my role.”
Though Nehha is excited to resume shooting in Surat, she understands the risks it involves. Shooting in the middle of a pandemic is never easy but the actress says she can breathe easy because she is hopeful that the show’s production team will take utmost caution and follow all COVID-19 procedures.
“I am excited as well as nervous because shooting at a time like this is risky. But I am sure they will take care of our safety. Also, we will be shooting at a secure location in a bio bubble and everyone who will be going has tested negative for the COVID-19,” says the actress.
