Hectic schedules of Television shows are taking a toll on TV
actors’ health. So much so, every now and then we get to learn about different
TV stars falling ill or fainting on the sets of their respective shows. A few
days back, SpotboyE.com reported that Helly Shah, who was shooting for Sufiyana
Pyaar Mera, fainted on the sets as shooting for double roles was getting a bit
‘two’ much for her to handle. Now, another actress who is making headlines for
her ill health is Isharon Isharon Mein actress Simran Pareenja.
A latest report suggests that Simran, who essays the role of a mute girl in the show, fainted in the middle of the shoot. The TOI report states, Simran had been suffering from a bout of throat infection for many days, but thanks to their hectic schedules, the actress couldn’t manage to find time to go to the doctor.
Talking about the same, Simran said, “Television industry works in a certain way. We do get breaks, but unlike employees in other sectors, there’s no weekly off. I had been unwell for many days, but couldn’t consult a doctor, as we are shooting a marriage sequence these days. One day, I fainted in the middle of the shoot; I guess, I paid for neglecting my health. I was given immediate medical attention and was asked to take a short break. I am better now and have to get back to work because the track is focussed on my character right now.”
Earlier, Helly Shah had also spoken about the same and said that she is working six days a week, and shoots for around 10-12 hours every day. She had been falling sick continuously because of the hectic schedule. She had been suffering from some or the other ailment in the past few months. She also revealed that the makers have been understanding and felt that it is best to rope in another actress for one of the roles. It is humanly impossible to meet the telecast demands, especially when you are enacting a double role.
