Actor Riya Bhattacharje, who was seen in Ishq Mein Marjwan 2, feels staying home in the pandemic is better than shooting. In an exclusive conversation with SpotboyE.com, the actress opened up about the current work scenario and how one can earn appreciation from the audience and some money staying home.
Talking about the changed work scenario now, she says,"Now more than work the struggle is for life here. It's safe not to work now because there are so many things that have arisen now like black fungus or say white fungus. So, better than struggling for work we can stay safe at home. Being alive is the biggest reward or payment we can receive now. It's also very sorrowful to see many people dying because of the virus. "Now, this period of standstill has also given the opportunities to actors to explore their craft more and with the help of the web platforms, we can share our work with our audience and get appreciation and earn a few bucks for survival too. I have also started focusing on my YouTube channel and I try to give my insights to fashionistas goals to the audience and thus exploring new avenues. All in all it's the era of the web so why not explore it and cherish the leverages", she continues. On being asked what type of work she is looking out for now, she says, "I am open to every opportunity be it in modeling or acting. I just want to work when things become a little calm and the atmosphere is safe. Because in the end being safe and sound is the top priority. But in terms of acting I am surely looking out for strong roles which can communicate messages to the audience."
