'The powerhouse of entertainment' Rakhi Sawant stole the spotlight at the Indian Television Academy Awards, which was held last night. The event was a star-studded and glitzy affair with many popular television and Bollywood celebrities in attendance. Besides Rakhi, stars like Kashmera Shah, Anupamaa aka Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Harshad Chopda, Rashmi Desai, Nakuul Mehta, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt among others arrived in style for the award night. Rakhi’s quirky outfit was something that grabbed everyone’s attention. She was dressed in a black outfit with a blingy silver tasseled jacket along with a huge red rose on her head. Alia and Ranveer also posed for paparazzi on the red carpet. Gangubai actress looked pretty in a silver saree. Seeing Alia, Rakhi met her warmly and happily posed her for paps. Both were seen interacting and smiling together. Rakhi even gave Alia a sweet goodbye kiss.
Recently, Rakhi showered heaps of praise on Alia for her brilliant performance in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. While interacting with the media, she applauded Alia and called her a ‘rockstar and solitaire diamond.’
