Jasmin Bhasin Is UPSET With Rumours Of Her Dating Aly Goni; Says 'He Doesn't Meet The Criteria'
OOPS! After rubbishing rumours of her dating Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin jokes that he doesn't meet the criteria she is looking for in her partner.
TV actor Aly Goni often makes it to the headlines because of his delightful banter with Jasmin Bhasin. The two have been great friends from a long time; however, their sizzling chemistry and all the social media camaraderie makes fans wonder if they are dating. Well, Jasmin and Aly have, however, maintained being just best friends. In a recent interview with Times Of India, the Dil Se Dil Tak actress revealed how of late, their dating rumours have been taking a toll on her and making her upset. She further joked about how Aly doesn't match the criteria that she's looking for in her future partner.
The actress said, "I have always maintained that Aly and I are best of friends, I am not in a relationship with him. For the past two years, I am being called his girlfriend. Earlier, I would laugh off these rumours, but now, they have started to affect me. When I am linked with close friends, it affects my friendship with them, and that’s upsetting." She further added how she is working extremely hard to get an identity of her own and isn't keen on being known 'just as someone's girlfriend'. Jasmin also highlighted that these rumours are affecting her chances of finding a suitable life partner.
“These rumours are affecting my personal life. I am looking for certain qualities in my ideal partner and Aly doesn’t meet that criteria for sure (laughs),” added the actress.
In an earlier interview with ETimes, Aly, too, had spoken on the similar lines. He said, "It doesn't affect our friendship. She is my best friend. People will keep saying what they want to and we can't control it. I think once she has someone in her life, a boyfriend, or I have a girlfriend in my life, only then will this stop coming in the media. I am waiting for my special someone who would walk into my life, my perfect partner. I just hope when that happens these rumours will stop."
