Jasmin Bhasin Quits Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji; Dil NOT Happy Playing Mom On-screen

Another shocking news from Tellywood. And it's one more EXIT. TV actress Jasmin Bhasin who is currently essaying Happy Mehra in Star Plus's Dil To Happy Hai Ji has quit the show. A source close to the show has informed SpotboyE.com, that the show is taking a huge leap post which Jasmin was asked to play a mother and the young actress flatly refused. We hear, she has informed the production about her decision of discontinuing with the proceedings.
Jasmin who started her career with TV show Tashan-E-Ishq as Twinkle also played Teni in Dil Se Dil Tak starring Rashami Desai and Siddharth Shukla. She was also a contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and kept making brief appearances in Khatra Khatra Khatra.
While joining the show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, Jasmin had told us, "In my normal life, I am a very happy person. I personally believe ‘kaatni to hai zindagi so toh rokar kyun haskar kaatni chahiye’. Life will become easier. In Khatron Ke Khiladi, I used to cry seeing the stunts otherwise I am a very happy-go-lucky person, chilled out in short. Even if I cry in real life, you will see a smile on my face. And that's absolutely how my character will be".
Dil To Happy Hai Ji which got premiered in January this year is a story of free spirited girl hailing from a middle-class family. However due to low TRPs, the makers had planned to get another leap in the show post which Jasmin would have had to turn mother.
Jasmin is not the only actress who has left the show midway to not play mother on screen, more so recently. Not too long ago, Drashti Dhami, Eisha Singh, Surbhi Chandana and Deblina Chatterjee took the same step.
