Jay Bhanushali And Mahhi Vij Dress Their Daughter Tara In Traditional Attire For Kanjak Puja; Rashami Desai Can't Stop Gushing Over The L'il One – VIDEO
While celebrating Kanjak puja, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij dressed their daughter Tara Bhanushali as the goddess wearing Indian traditional attire while they seek blessings from her. Watch the adorable video here
Today, the nation is celebrating Kanjak puja - a Hindu holy ritual that is carried out on the eighth and ninth day of the Navaratri festival. With this, even TV actors Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij were captured celebrating the festival where they dressed up their little daughter Tara Bhanushali as the goddess. Taking it to Instagram, Mahhi and Jay both shared a video on the reels where Tara is seen wearing a light blue Indian traditional attire with matching jewellery, looking ‘oh-so-adorable'. What’s more adorable was that Mahhi and Jay treated her like the ‘Mata rani’ as we saw them seeking blessings from her.
In the video, Tara is seen standing on a sofa and elders come to touch her feet. Well, for the unversed, in some part of India, young girls are worshipped as a manifestation of Shakti (female energy) in her various avatars. Sharing the video, Mahhi wrote, "Jai mata di #jaimatadi #kanjak." While sharing a similar video, Jay on his Instagram wrote, "Happy Kanjak to all @tarajaymahhi.” Bigg Boss 13’s Rashami Desai dropped a cute comment on Mahhi's video which read, “Ollleeeee even we can’t wear the way she’s holding dupatta and seating like a queen. #onlyonscreen.” Meanwhile, a week ago, Mahhi shared her experience of giving birth to a child and C-section.
Sharing a picture from the hospital, the day when Tara was born, she wrote a powerful note which read, “Giving birth to a child is never easy and especially all the more challenging if you have a C-Section. On one end is a child you want to nurture and on the other is the pain that your body is going through due to the stitches and the not-so-natural form of delivery. But I feel everything that happens in life makes you stronger and we women are stronger than we know! To all the mothers out there who have given birth and that too the more difficult way, remember its all worth it when we look at our child, the greatest blessing in disguise! Celebrate motherhood because I know for me its life’s greatest gift!”
