Jayati Bhatia Feels Shortage Of COVID-19 Vaccines In India Lead To Her Mother’s Vaccination Appointment Being Cancelled
In the last couple of months, we saw many senior stars or parents of the young actors being vaccinated against COVID-19. Theatre and TV actress Jayati Bhatia in her recent tweet spoke about her mother being scheduled to get her first dose of vaccination against the deadly virus on April 15. Unfortunately, the appointment got cancelled and the actress says no reason was given by the concerned medical centre. In her tweet, she further predicted what might be the reason for this cancellation of her appointment.

The actress feels the reason for her mother’s appointment being cancelled is the inadequate amount of COVID-19 vaccines in the country. “My mother's appointment for Vaccine scheduled on this 15th April @KDAH got cancelled today #noreasonsgiven..got me thinking about the same..maybe we are short of #COVIDvaccine,” tweeted the actress. Responding to it, one of the columnists of a leading tabloid, Dushyant replied to her, “The story big media is suppressing- India is short of vaccines now.” While the vaccine doses are given to the citizens of our country, rising cases, on the other hand, has got the government to impose lockdown in certain parts of the country.

On the work front, the senior actress is set to back on the second season of Sasural Simar Ka.
