Jennifer Winget On Beyhadh 2 Being Axed: ‘It Feels Sad To Pull The Plug Without Giving A Proper End’
Reacting to Beyhadh 2's abrupt closure, leading actress Jennifer Winget said that it feels sad to have to pull the plug on the show without giving a proper end
Television shows like Beyhadh 2 along with other Beyhadh 2, Patiala Babes And Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein came to abrupt ending due to the lockdown. The harsh decision was taken when the lockdown was extended and the news episodes of the show were yet to be shot. Revealing the reason behind the decision to pull the plug of the shows, the makers said that they are finite fiction shows and the nature and the pace of their narrative is time-bound. Now after Shivin Narang, the leading actress Jennifer Winget has reacted to the news.
When Times Of India got in touch with Jennifer Winget and asked her about the abrupt end of Beyhadh coming to end. While reacting she revealed that, it is an infinite show, they were anyway planning to wrap the show by May. She said, “While we were hoping to wrap the show by May anyway, the current lockdown placed a lot of constraints, which made it impossible to physically and realistically see the show through till the end. This goes for every other show as well as production house and channel. In this case, it was the logical thing to do because we need to consider safety of the entire team, without which it was impossible to carry things forward.”
She then added that the show Beyhadh was loved and followed. She further said, “It is so close to my heart and always will be, it definitely feels sad to have to pull the plug on the show without giving a proper end. But, I am sure something better will come out of this, there will be better days for us. I am also sure that our fans will understand the circumstances and stay with us, whatever the outcome.”
A while back, we reported that a diehard fan of Beyhadh 2 had threatened to commit suicide if the show was pulled off. Shivin had reacted this fan’s extreme reaction and had requested to not take any step in disappointment.
