Jennifer Winget On Her Separation From Ex-Husband Karan Singh Grover: ‘I Was Totally Lost, Didn't Know How To Deal With It’
In a recent interview, TV actress Jennifer Winget opens up about her divorce from Karan Singh Grover
Television actress Jennifer Winget has opened up about her separation from her former husband Karan Singh Grover. For the unversed, the two got married in April 2012 in a close knit-ceremony. However, they separated in 2014 and filed for divorce in 2015. In a recent interview, Winget recalls how difficult it was for her to deal with this separation. The actress admitted that she was ‘totally lost’ and didn't know what to do, but luckily, work helped her to come out of it.
Speaking to Telly Chakkar, the Beyhadh actress stated that her separation was a very stressful and difficult time for her as everything was on social media. So many wrong things were written about her and Karan, which was very disturbing for them. At that time both she and Karan needed privacy, but nothing seemed private as everything was out in the open. She went on to add, “I was totally lost and didn't know what to do and how to deal with it. Luckily, work helped me to come out of it. I became more strong. The period was definitely challenging. I learnt so much about myself. Even though it was a tough period for me, I feel some things happen for a reason as I got to to meet a new version of me, Jennifer 2.0.”
The former couple worked together in popular shows such as 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and 'Dill Mill Gayye'. Karan and Jennifer’s chemistry in ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ was much loved and appreciated by fans and audiences. Before getting hitched to Winget, the actor was married to actress Shraddha Nigam. However, they called it quits after 10 months of togetherness. Karan is currently happily married to Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu.
