Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 has already hit the television screens and booked our weekends. The show is back after a hiatus of five years and so the audience is super excited for the celebrity dance reality show. Now as Diwali - the festival of light is around the corner all the contestants will give dance performances on mythological characters.
In the Diwali special episode, contestants will recreate mythological stories on stage. They will play Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Dharupadi, and Goddess Kaali to name a few. For this special episode, Ramayan fame Arun Govil who played Ram, and Dipika Chilika who played Sita will grace the show as special guests.

Talking about the performance Nia Sharma brought live the fight between Rakhtbeej and Maa Kaali on the stage. Sharma played the Kaali Maa and her choreo partner Tarun played the monster Rakhtbeej. One could feel the rage and anger in Nia’s eyes when she played the character of Maa Kaali. They both gave a super energetic performance earning adulation from the judges. Deepika Chikhla also praised her and said, “aisa laga ki mein sakshat Kaali Maa ko dekh rahi hun.”
On the other hand, Rubina Dilaik played one of the most powerful females in Indian mythology Draupadi. She and her choreo partner Sanam Johar enacted the story of Draupadi’s cheerharan. They even showed Draupadi’s anger for Dushashan by showing the specific scene from Mahabharat where she claims to tie her only after washing it with Dushashan’s blood. Her performance received praise from the judges. Madhuri Dixit even said, “Iss duniya mein jab bhi aurat ke khilaf apradh hoga use maaf nahi kiya jana chaiye.”
These episodes will air on ColorsTV on 22nd and 23rd October.
