Bad news for Kanika Mann fans as the actress, who was reported to play Bondita in Barrister Babu is not doing the same
Last week, media reports suggested that Colors TV ongoing show 'Barrister Babu' will witness a generation leap after which Aurra Bhatnagar who is playing the main lead Bondita in the show will be replaced. And her grown up character will be essayed by actress Kanika Mann. After the reports came in, a lot of fans had also started trending 'We Want Aurra as Bondita' on Twitter. And demanded no leap in the show.
And now our credible sources have informed us that Kanika Mann is not doing the show anymore. In fact, the actress was never finalised for it, "Kanika was approached for the show along with many other actresses. But she couldn't take up the show as she has already signed another project on OTT space." Barrister Babu, the show which is produced under the banner of Shashi Sumeet Productions revolves around a child bride, Bondita Das, who is married to Barrister Anirudh Roy Choudhary (Pravisht Mishra) while he fights against society for her education to become a Barrister.
