Karan Mehra Shuts Down Rajeev Sen’s Allegations Of Having An Affair With Charu Asopa; Says ‘I Would Rather File Defamation Suit Against Him’

Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa’s married life seems to be a matter of great concern and the former couple have been making it to the headlines for all the accusations they have hurled at each other. Now, after Rajeev Sen had accused estranged wife Charu Asopa of having an affair with actor Karan Mehra, the actor has stepped ahead to dismiss the allegations made by Sen. In a recent interview, Rajeev accused Charu of having a romantic relationship with actor, Karan Mehra. Apart from this, Rajeev also claimed that he got to know about Charu and Karan’s relationship through her mother.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Karan Mehra lashed out at Rajeev for his remarks and blamed him for dragging into their fight.
Talking about the same, Karan said: “What romance is Rajeev talking about? I had spoken to Charu for a while at a promotional event in June. After that we never connected until today."
During the same interview, Karan also shared that when he met Charu they only discussed their respective marital issues and it is quite natural since they are celebs and their lives are out there in the public domain.
Karan called the allegations terrible and concluded that “Prior to the event in question, I had met Charu about 10 years ago. I have shifted to Delhi after the whole Nisha Rawal episode and Rajeev Sen accuses me like this. Just terrible. I would rather file a defamation suit against him.”
Meanwhile, even Charu said, “This is utter bullsh*t… I have worked with Karan on one show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and haven’t met him for the last 12 years. Recently, there was an event where he also turned up, and we had to post one reel as a professional commitment. There is nothing romantic in the reel. We are just standing there because we are there as celebrities. Usko dekhke koi bhi nahi koi bol nahi sakta ke Karan aur mera chakar chal raha hai.”
Charu Asopa has even apologised to Karan Mehra for getting dragged into their divorce battle. “I would like to apologise to Mehra for getting involved in this messy thing. He is trying to malign his image as well. I am feeling so bad about it. We met just once for work, and Rajeev has used it to put altogether another image using the reel. I didn’t even know Karan would be at that event. My husband is really getting dirty and making it ugly,” she admits.
