Karan Singh Grover Reveals He Was ‘Angry’ When He Contracted COVID-19 And Regrets Saying ‘I Am The Anti-Virus’; Reacts To Bipasha Basu’s Pregnancy Rumours

Actor Karan Singh Gover was busy shooting for his upcoming show Qubool Hai 2.0 had contracted COVID-19, back in December 2020. Karan along with some members of the crew tested positive for the deadly virus during their shooting schedule in Serbia. Now, in a new interview, the Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 fame talks about his COVID-19recovery in an interview. Karan shares how he was angry after testing positive for the deadly virus. The actor reacted to his wife Bipasha Basu’s pregnancy rumours as well.
Speaking with the Times of India, Karan Singh Grover revealed he was angry with himself as he always joked about it. He said, “I was very angry with myself when I got the virus. I often say things that I later regret and I went around saying that I am the anti-virus and I got the virus, I was like why do you have to say stuff?” Talking about his recovery after testing negative for the virus, Karan shared, “As for the recovery, every person reacts to everything differently. I couldn't smell for three days and that was the only symptom that I had. I was told not to work out for some time so for Bipasha's sanity I didn't work out for some time, not because I couldn't but just so that she doesn't get stressed. Now I am back to doing everything and the recovery was smooth."
The actor shared that for him, his COVID-19 recovery was smooth, but mentioned that the only symptom he had was that he could not smell anything for some days. Karan also addressed the speculation surrounding wife, actor Bipasha Basu’s pregnancy. He said, “We are so vocal and we share our love so openly and proudly that whenever there is a little monkey running around, everyone will know!” The actor added, “It is just natural progression that people fall in love, get married and then after a few years, they have a baby. And if you don’t have a baby then people start speculating that you must have a baby.”
During the interview, the actor said that whenever Bipasha and he are expecting their first child, they will let everyone know. He suggested that fans keep speculating till then. Meanwhile, Karan and Bipasha took a short trip to the Maldives in February. The couple shared lovey-dovey postcard-worthy photos from their trip, which said only ‘love’.
