Karan Splits With Kamya To Marry Ankita!

Actor Karan Patel is about to embark on a new phase in his life. The actor, who started his career on television in Ekta Kapoor’s hit show Kasautii Zindagi Kay, found some big screen satisfaction in films like City of Gold and Shootout at Wadala. He recently made a comeback to the idiot box with Yeh hai Mohabbatein, co-starring Divyanka Tripathi.
 

Rumours have been rife about Karan dating Kamya Punjabi - she even referred to him as her love-man in an advert for a cricket event. The two were last seen together on Box Cricket League.

Now, we hear that the small screen hunk will soon tie the knot with television actor Ankita Bhargava, last seen as Latika in Ekk Nayi Pehchaan! 
 
Kamya is very popular face on TV as a vamp and was a well regarded contestant in Bigg Boss Season 7. She was once married to Bunty Negi and has a daughter with him, but filed for divorce a month before entering the Bigg Boss house.
 
Post her exit from the reality show, Kamya started dating Karan.
 
So what happened that led to the break-up?  A source says, "Karan's parents  werent happy with the idea of their son marrying someone who already had a broken marriage behind her."
 
When we contacted Kamya, she sounded very low and refused to talk beyond saying, “I am not in a state to talk now. Please call Karan and ask him.”
 
When we got in touch with Karan, he confirmed the story saying, "Yes, Ankita and I are getting married. Currently, alongside my shoots I am also in the middle of preparations for the wedding. 
 
Interestingly, Ankita's father acts in the same show as Karan, playing Mr Iyer in Yeh hai Mohabbatein.
