After beating deadly Coronavirus, the much-awaited quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, returned to Television with its 12th season. Taking the utmost precautions and safety measures on the sets of the show, while shooting for KBC 12, the host Amitabh Bachchan was seen maintaining social distancing. During the very first episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, no live audience was seen on the show. Hence, live audience poll was replaced with ‘video a friend’ lifeline for the contestants.
The 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 saw a student, Aarti Jagtap, from Madhya Pradesh, emerging as the winner of Fastest Finger First and becoming the first contestant of the season. During the course of the game, Aarti was asked a question about Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara. Big B played Dil Bechara’s song asking the KBC contestant Aarti which is the debut film of the leading actress of this film. Selecting the correct answer from the options, Aarti said it’s Sanjana Sanghi. Aarti Jagtap quit the game after winning Rs 6.40 lakh.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who allegedly ended his life on June 14, last film Dil Bechara made an OTT release in July leaving everyone in tears. Dil Bechara not only marked the debut of the leading actress, Sanjana Sanghi but also the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
Last evening, son Abhishek Bachchan took to social media to share his excitement for the launch of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12. He had Tweeted, “9 baj gaye kya???? #KBC Can’t wait.
