Kavita Kaushik equates her walkout from Dr Bhanumati On Duty to a failed marriage
The feisty actress chose to speak first to SpotboyE.com at length about her exit from the new SAB TV show. Also, she had first confirmed about her exit with this very portal only
Is she putting up a brave front? Or does she really not care? You can never read Kavita Kaushik's emotions and this time too she succeeded in masking them adequately.
Talking exclusively to SpotboyE.com about why she quit the TV show Dr Bhanumati on Duty which was launched with so much fanfare barely 2 weeks ago, Kavita chose to start off by saying, "It didn't work out for me, but so what? Don't several marriages go kaput very soon? Don't several marital relationships lead to a divorce in just few months?"

Dwelling thereafter on the reason why she decided not to continue in the set-up, Kavita said, "Look, please get this straight. I was not happy with the way that the show was panning out. They were trting to make another FIR, I thought."
But shouldn't an actor sometimes ride on his/her strengths to lean on a formula for success? Pat came the reply: "I don't like to be a copy even if it is my own. I believe in my capabilities to play variety of roles and shall walk away from anything that makes me feel otherwise."
Kavita says that she has not put the producers (Optimystix) under any stress or strain by walking away from Dr Bhanumati on Duty. "I had an exit clause in my contract, which clearly spelt out that I reserve the right to leave the show within a month if I am not happy with it," then added, "So I am still around for a month to give my close-ups and do my scenes. Moreover, I am sure that Optimystix (producers of the show) will get a new girl who will fit into the role easily."

And what about the showdown she had with the Optimystix official Hemant, which SpotboyE.com has heard about? It is being said in TV circles that Hemant at one point asked her pointblank: Aapko show karna hai ki nahin? To which, Kavita flung her bag across her shoulder and stormed out of the set. The popular TV actress, however, denied this, saying, "I am too wise to have showdowns anymore."
