Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3: Khushbu Thakkar On Joining Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh On The Show Again- EXCLUSIVE
Good news for the fans of actress Khushbu Thakkar, who played Ronita in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi Season 2. The actress will be returning in season 3 as well and here is what she has to say about it
Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3, featuring Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh, is all set to premiere on July 12. And now, we hear that Khushbu Thakkar will also be returning to the show as Sonakshi's (Erica Fernandes) sister-in-law, Ronita.
For the uninitiated, in the first season, Ronita had played the role of cupid for Dev and Sonakshi's relationship. Her bond with the Bose family served as one of the important binding factors for the duo. When contacted Khushbu, who has also done shows like Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Rangrasiya, Bhootu, and Sanjeevani, confirmed the news. ALSO READ: Erica Fernandes On Kuch Rang Season 3: 'I Am Excitedly Waiting To Shoot And Relive My Character Of Sonakshi'
Talking about her experience of working in the show she said, "Though I joined the show almost after a year, the amount of love and affection the fans poured in for me was beyond my expectations. It was an amazing experience to do both the seasons of the show. Nobody on the sets, on our last day of the shoot, believed that it's the end. We all had a firm belief that it's not an end, and here we are back on popular demand with our Season 3."
She feels her character is natural and balanced, that's one of the reasons why she is elated to be part of the show again. "I love my character, instead of making me a typical melodramatic daily soap bahu, the makers kept my character very balanced, positive, and natural. Ronita was a no-fuss and sorted as a character throughout. I'm thrilled to be a part of a show which is personally my favorite as it's a rare find on TV to have such realistic, relatable as well subtle content without any unnecessary and unrealistic drama, yet so soul touching and gripping."
Talking about her co-actors Khusbhu said, "Shaheer and Erica are like cherry on the cake. Like who doesn't like to be around desserts. Besides, Supriya Ji is an actor of another league. You get to learn so much from her just by observing. The best part of our show is it's never gone off track with its evolving storyline & that every actor brings in a different flavour to show, they are in the skin of their characters that it turns out beautifully as a team. Nobody on our sets has any hang-ups. The essence of our show makes it our Lala land. I am sure Season 3 will also bring in a lot of affection for all of us. I have an altogether different faith in our producer Mamta Patnaik and the channel for developing our show, the best version of itself for which it was and will be very unique and close to our hearts."
Thakkar has recently shot for Hardik Gajjar’s romcom, Vahalam Jaao Ne along with Scam 1992 fame Prateek Gandhi.
