Kushal Punjabi committed suicide last night by hanging himself in his Bandra house. His last rites will be performed tomorrow at the Santacruz Crematorium at 12 Noon
It was quite a big shock to learn about the demise of TV actor Kushal Punjabi. The actor committed suicide last night by hanging himself at his Bandra flat. His close friend Chetan Hansraj was the first one to see his body. We can only imagine how disturbing a sight it would be for the actor to see his best friend in that state.
We informed you earlier that the funeral is happening tomorrow and his wife Audrey Dolhen will be flying down from France tonight. Now we have learnt the exact time and place where it’s happening. His last rites will be performed at the Santacruz Crematorium at 12 Noon tomorrow.
Several actors from the TV fraternity have expressed grief over his demise on social media. We even spoke to his co-stars and friends like Aalisha Panwar, Bakhtiyaar Irani. His ex-girlfriend Meghna Naidu was also upset by this sad news.
The real cause of his suicide is probably his bout with depression as a report claimed that the actor was on anti-depressants. When we dug deeper, we learnt that Kushal was suffering from a failed marriage as his wife and child stayed separately. It’s quite sad that he hid the pain behind his smile as his Instagram profile also shows no signs of a depressed man.
In fact, 2 days back, he partied the night away with friends like Shilpa Saklani, Apurva Agnihotri, Meet Bros, Kushal Tandon.
In these tough times, we pray that his family gets the strength to overcome his loss.
