Kushal Punjabi Funeral: Chetan Hansraj Breaks Down As He Bids Farewell To His Late Friend, ‘Can’t Imagine Life Without Him’

Television actor Kushal Punjabi’s sudden death came as a shock to everyone. His friend Karanvir Bohra took to social media on Friday, informing fans and followers about Kushal Punjabi’s sudden demise. The Ishq Mein Marjaawan actor was 37 years old and SpotboyE later reported that Kushal had hung himself in his Bandra residence and left behind a suicide note, in which he hadn’t blamed anyone for it. His funeral took place yesterday and his last rites were performed at Santa Cruz Crematorium and several members of the television fraternity such as Arjun Bijlani, Chetan Hansraj, Karanvir Bohra, Shenaz Treasury, Diandra Soares came in to pay their last respects.
Chetan Hansraj, who was a good friend of Kushal Punjabi’s, got emotional as he bid farewell to his late friend. He said that Kushal was the light of each and every group they were a part of, and said that for him, Kushal will always be a winner. He also said that he can’t imagine life without him. Chetan was deeply disturbed by Kushal Punjabi’s death and he spoke to SpotboyE about the shocking chain of events till the time when he discovered Kushal hung from a fan. He had spoken to Kushal only two days before his death, on Christmas eve.
In other news, Kushal Punjabi’s wife and son were both in France when Kushal Punjabi decided to end his life and took the drastic step. In his suicide note, he mentioned that he has asked his family to distribute his assets between his family and his son. Kushal’s colleague and FIR actress Kavita Kaushik also took to Instagram and stressed on the importance of mental health, following Kushal’s suicide.
