With reports of Lock Upp’s season 2 doing rounds on the internet, fans have been left excited to know who will be a part of the jail-theme based reality show. Many renowned names from the television industry have been making the headlines, while nothing is officially confirmed yet, Kangana Ranaut will be returning to host the upcoming season. Now, in an interview ex-contestant Zeeshan Khan has taken a dig at the actress when asked about his advice to the celebrities who might become a part of the show.

Talking to Showsha, Zeeshan revealed that the one advice he would like to give the future contestants is that they shouldn’t listen to Kangana’s opinions. Calling her so-called queen of the show, the actor expressed how she will always have a biased opinion as she doesn’t know what exactly goes on in the house. He stressed on the fact that the contestants must be true to themselves and always stand their ground. Quoted by Bollywood Life, he said, “My advice to the future contestant would be, be who you are. It is a jail-themed show. Our so-called ‘queen’ of the show (Kangana Ranaut) has absolutely no understanding of what happens inside. She will have a biased opinion. You stay strong on your grounds. Trust me, do not take the queen’s advice ever, ever.” He went on to add that he doesn’t have any ill feelings towards her. For the unversed, the first season of the show was won by comedian Munawar Faruqui. Apart from Kangana being the host, the show saw actor Karan Kundrra as the jailor. It is to be seen if he would be returning the show or the makers would be looking at his replacements.
