Ali Merchant says he doesn’t want to see ex-wife Sara Khan’s face ever again in his life

Television actor Ali Merchant, who entered the reality show 'Lock Upp' as a wildcard, recently got eliminated from the show. During his stay inside the house, he grabbed eyeballs for locking horns with his ex-wife Sara Khan. Now post his eviction, Ali in a recent interview talked about often being mocked in the show for using Sara’s name to get ahead in the game. The actor stated that he doesn’t want to see his ex-Sara’s face ever again in his life.
Speaking to ETimes TV, Ali opened up about the claims that he got Lock Upp because of Sara Khan. He was quoted saying, “It was very tough and hurtful to be mocked that I was in the show because of my ex. I have moved on in my life and I wanted to utilise the chance I got through Lock Upp. I don’t have the habit of lying or to keep lying to cover up things. Now that I am out of the show, I just want to tell my ex- don't take the limelight from me.”
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai mentioned that now he wants to shift all his focus toward his work. Ali also said that he no longer wants to give any importance to Sara Khan because he is doing well in his life. “People who think bad about others, good things never happen to them. She didn’t get the audience's love neither the qaidis supported her. I am not one of those who use others for their own advantage or damage other’s work to benefit from it. I know a lot of people in this industry do stuff to be in the limelight and with me an unfortunate controversy happened in the past where I was not even at fault. I don’t want to give any importance to her because I am doing well for myself and I am currently in the best phase of my life. I don’t want to malign anyone to be in the limelight. I don’t want to see my ex- Sara Khan’s face ever again,” Ali Merchant further explained.
For the unversed, Sara Khan and Ali Merchant got married during their stay inside Bigg Boss 4 house. However, their marriage didn't last for a long as they got separated within two months. The actress has accused Ali of infidelity.
