Poonam Pandey is the third confirmed contestant of Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp
After Nisha Rawal and Munawar Faruqui, Poonam Pandey has been announced as the third contestant of Kangana Ranaut-hosted reality show 'Lock Upp: Badass Jail Atyaachari Khel'. A promo featuring Poonam was released today. Ekta Kapoor shared the promo and wrote in the caption, "Hot ke chakkar mein ho gayi Poonam Pandey caught! #LockUpp streaming from 27th Feb, LIVE free on @altbalaji and @mxplayer."
Talking about participating in the show, she said in a statement, "After being hesitant towards appearing in the show for a while, I finally decided to let all my qualms go and just take up the opportunity. I am looking at this as a chance to show my fans and audience a different side of me, the candid and vulnerable side. I am the hot one inside the jail, and someone that viewers can relate to." Last year, Poonam made headlines after she filed a complaint against her estranged husband Sam Bombay for physically assaulting her. She was hospitalised after inflicting injuries on her head. Speaking about the same at that time, she told us, "I am doing pretty well now. I don't want to talk much about Sam Bombay at the moment as I am currently on a healing process."
Ekta Kapoor's 'Lock Upp: Badass Jail Atyaachari Khel' will have sixteen controversial celebrity contestants locked up in jail. The contestants will compete for the most basic amenities in the show. Lock Upp marks Kangana Ranaut's debut as a reality show host. ALT Balaji and MX Player will live stream the show 24X7 on their respective platforms starting February 27.
