Kangana Ranaut-hosted controversial reality show 'Lock Upp’ has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. After announcing the first contestant, TV actress Nisha Rawal, the makers yesterday revealed that stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is the second confirmed contestant of the show. While there is much curiosity to know about other confirmed celebrities, Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Ritesh has also got the offer to participate in the show. Yes, you read that right!
The controversy queen, yesterday, revealed to paparazzi that Ritesh got the offer to participate as a contestant in the show but she didn’t know if he will go or not. Rakhi said in Hindi, “Mujhe offer nahi aaya...nahi offer aaya hai kahin pe, par meri baat shayad hui nahi hai unse. My husband Ritesh has got the offer...ex husband. Unko offer aaya hai...I don't know woh jayenge nahi jayenge, mujhe nahi pata hai.” The Bigg Boss 15 contestant also mentioned that she would consider going on the show only if her ‘idol’ Ekta Kapoor asks her to and not for Kangana. "Ekta ke liye toh shayad mein jaon bhi lekin didi ke liye na jaon mein,” Rakhi further said.
Rakhi Sawant recently made headlines after she slammed Kangana Ranaut for taking a dig at Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss during Lock Upp promotions. Rakhi stated, “Mujhe bahut bura laga jab Kangana ne kaha, 'Yeh tumhare bhai ka ghar nahi hai.' Behen, suno, itne time se bhai hi show chala rahe hain. Tumhare mein dum hai ek show chala ke dikhao. Bhai pichle 15 season se show chala rahe hai. Bhai mein bohot dum hai. Behen mein dum nahi hai.”
Meanwhile, Rakhi Sawant and Ritesh, who entered Bigg Boss 15 together last year, have called it quits. The actress announced their separation via a post on social media and revealed it was Ritesh’s decision to part ways.
