Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh will not be seen entertaining you with their moves and arguments on Nach Baliye 9 anymore. Yesterday, we broke the news of their elimination and instantly got in touch with the Chandrakanta actress’ mother, to know what she feels about her daughter’s early eviction.

While Mrs Tuli refrained from confirming the elimination in as many words, she did give out her opinion on the reports of the eviction floating around. Here’s what she had to say, in a quick chat with us, about the Jodi who fought and danced the equal amount on the show:

I don't know that they are out. I have been reading reports about the same, though.

Going by the reports then. Are  you surprised?
Strictly going by the reports only.  Well, I think they tried their best. I would say they danced their hearts out. Their chemistry also was good.


Also, they were the much-talked about jodi on the show. Why then did they face the axe, so soon?
You know what? While I understand that there are other jodis in the show who are dancing better than Madhurima and Vishal, I just feel that if the media would have reported Vishal and her fights lesser, the two might have lasted longer in the game. The bad press must have played on their minds. But then you never know, if they hadn't quarrelled they might not have performed with so much josh.

But they shouldn't have fought so much then...
I think some people do fight. It is just natural. Why are we making such a big deal about Vishal and my daughter? I didn't even get into their fights. Honestly, full marks to them. I overreacted initially about Vishal, but he is just like my son.



The way they fight, you must have felt they broke up for good...
I still remember the day they parted ways. I never felt it happened for good. In fact, I prayed for long that they should get back together.

What if they reunite now after working in Nach Baliye 9?
I don't think anybody knows the future. I am so neutral on this now.  But you have asked a very hypothetical question to conclude.
