The current season of MasterChef India is all set to have its grand finale in the coming weeks and needless to say all eyes are on it. The cooking-based show has been grabbing eyeballs for multiple reasons. Time and again, the judges- Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora have been facing harsh criticism over their judgment and decisions. Recently, they came under the radar of trolls for being lenient with Aruna Vijay’s filter coffee shrikhand.

Netizens lashed out at Ranveer for having a biased tone towards Aruna and not being strict with her the way he was with Priyanka. A certain section of people took to Twitter to slam the chef and called him out for his ‘hypocrisy and biased judgment.’ One netizen tweeted, “How politely chefranveer told about arunas dahi and coffee disaster...ab kaha gaya wo tone that u sued with priyanaka #masterchefindia.” Another reacted, “not the first time, when she was struggling with sugar consitency Chef Brar  helped by rolling the  sheet for her n was praising how good her sugar bowl is.” ALSO READ: Masterchef India 7 Finale Episode Update: Chef Pratik Gets STRICT With Contestants; Ranveer Brar Slams A Participant For Mixing Coffee With Dahi







One of the angry netizens criticized the judges, writing, “Its clear now why  #MasterChefIndia is the worse masterchef show amongst all the nation's. Pathetic partial judges. Applause for @ranveerbrar @TheVikasKhanna @garima_ar. Giving Paneer instead of fish to #aruna is criminal & unfair to others. Corrupt and pathetic. @SonyLIV.”

Meanwhile, the semi-finale challenges have started and all seven contestants are leaving no stone unturned to impress the judges. Kamaldeep Kaur has become the first finalist of MasterChef India season 7. The other seven contestants of the show are- Priyanka Kundu Biswas, Aruna Vijay, Santa Sarmah, Gurkirat Singh, Sachin Khatwani, Suvarna Bagul, and Nayanjyoti Saikia.
