From portraying a strict husband in Doli Armaano Ki to a doting father in Kulfi Kumar Bajrewala, to now a cute romantic loverboy in Lockdown Ki Love Story, actor Mohit Malik has truly managed to pull off some diverse characters on television throughout the last few years.
Though not many know that before 'Kulfi Kumar Bajrewala' came into his life, Mohit had to wait for a short period of time for the show pilots he had shot for to begin, which didn't happen for quite some time, and that was when he chose to use his time wisely and took up the opportunity to learn different aspects of what actually goes on behind and in front of the camera through various acting workshops. Sharing a sweet throwback on social media from his very first experience as an assistant in Atul Mongia's acting workshop years ago, Mohit gets nostalgic with a gratitude filled post thanking the director for the lovely learning experience!
Speaking about getting the chance to assist and learn from Atul Mongia years ago, Mohit shares, "Before I signed on Kulfi, I was going through a phase in my career when the projects I was wanting to work on were taking sometime to materialise, and that's when I decided to take up to learning more detailed nuances of what goes on behind the camera. Through the various acting workshops I became a part of back then, I met director Atul Mongia and decided to assist him with his own acting workshops as well, one of which was in Kerala for a film back then, which I have even shared on my instagram profile. It was a lovely experience working with him. It helped me learn so much, which in turn has made me into the actor that I am today. It also mainly helped me truly understand the path I wanted to take on in regards with my acting. Till today I feel grateful to have gotten such a wonderful opportunity to learn such amazing learnings from him, which will stay with me for life!"
