The actress, who plays Paridhi in the Ekta Kapoor show, has been told to sex it up. Though her character begins as a simpleton, she undergoes a drastic transformation once the evil spirit Manjulika (Mahek Chahal) possesses her.

When the makers asked Mona to come up with a look that’s evil and sexy at the same time, she decided to don a strappy choli and black chiffon sari.

The actress told SpotboyE, “I don’t wear black saris and look at this black nail paint -- I never dress up like this in real life. I like being simple, I hope I don’t scandalise myself.”
