Mother’s Day is around the corner; a day which is celebrated to appreciate mothers who play an important role in the life of a child. The special day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, every year. This year, Mother’s Day falls on May 9, 2021. Ahead of Mother’s day 2021, actress Mahhi Vij made a post on her Instagram. The actress shared a post and revealed she won’t celebrate the special day this year amidst the COVID-19 crisis. The television actress went on to say that we are all truly in this together.
Mahhi Vij said we all are truly in this together and expressed why she won’t celebrate Mother’s Day amid the COVID-19 crisis. The actress made the announcement and wrote, “Ask a child who has lost their mother or a mother who has lost their child in this pandemic.” She added, “We all say that We are In This Together and if we really are then why the celebrations? There should be none because my heart cries every time I hear about someone who has lost a family member in this current pandemic, every time a child loses their mother.” Mahhi continued, “And so there are no Mother's Day Celebrations For Me This Year Because Truly We Are All In This Together! #weareinthistogether #mothersday.”
