Soon after Bigg Boss 13 ended, the wedding reality show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge kicked-off with Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill selecting a suitable match from six suitors each. During the show, Paras and Shehnaaz constantly received a lot of flak for not being too serious about making some connections on the show. With the show finally over, wild card entrant Aanchal Khurana was declared the winner. Now, after the show has ended, in an interview, the actress opens up about how she feels Mujhse Shaadi Karoge was a joke to everyone and lots more about her relationship with Paras.
Speaking with Times of India, in an interview, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge winner Aanchal Khurana explained how she feels it was a wrong decision of the makers to come up with a show like Mujhse Shaadi Karoge immediately after Bigg Boss 13. She said, “I feel that it was a wrong decision to come up with a show like this immediately after Bigg Boss, because we saw two strong connections — between Shehnaaz and Sidharth, and Mahira and Paras.” Aanchal also mentioned that as the makers picked one contestant from the two popular pairs, Sidharth-Shehnaaz and Paras-Mahira, the wedding show did not work and said, “The makers just picked one contestant each from the two pairs and made a show on them. I think that didn’t work, because the audience would have liked to see the four of them together and their chemistry.”
Moving on, the Mujhse Shaadi Karoge winner also spoke about how she feels the show was a joke to everyone and added, “So, it was more of a joke for everyone. Sabko pata tha wahaan kisi ki shaadi nahi honi hai (Everyone knew no one’s getting married on the show).” Aanchal also opened up on her relationship with Paras Chhabra. Aanchal shared that she does not see any future with Paras as she did not get enough time with him. The actress also mentioned that Paras and she friend-zoned each other and added, “We are better off as friends.”
Meanwhile, talking about Paras and Mahira Sharma’s equation, Aanchal Khurana mentioned how she also assumed the pair Pahira were in a relationship but revealed that Paras clarified that Mahira is a very good friend.
