Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui has been making it to the headlines for his success on the career front. However, amid all the stardom and fan-following, the comedian did not forget to show off his love and admiration for his girlfriend and social media celebrity Nazila.
Faruqui shared a series of images with his girlfriend via Instagram on Saturday and he even showered his love on her with self-written poetry.
Sharing a series of images, the stand-up comedian can be seen posing with Nazila, as he wrote, “Ab nahi hai hum charago ke mohtaj, uski ankhein mehfile roshan karti hai. Mai kitaaben fir se almari me rakh aaya hun, Suna hai woh ba-kamaal insaan padti hai.”
This translates to, "I don't need lighting anymore, her eyes can light any occasion. I've put my books away since I've heard she has a good sense of people."
Munawar, during his time in Lock-Upp, bonded rather well with co-contestant Anjali Arora, and in a recent interview, the comedian explained how it affected her partner who was not on set.
During a recent interaction, Munawar Faruqui had stated that watching him and Anjali together on the television was difficult for his girlfriend Nazila. He went on to say that she was affected by the situation and that she eventually understood and backed him in the game.
“I know it must have not been easy for her to watch all that happened as I and Anjali were very close and she went through a lot of emotions, but in the end, she understood the game and supported me. Most importantly, she had complete trust in me," Munawar Faruqui told TellyChakkar.
“My love life was always private, and since I was on the show and she was outside it, it wasn’t right for me to talk about it. I had to discuss it with her and then make a decision. Once I came out, I spoke to her and then revealed that I was in a relationship. It wasn’t an intention to keep it a secret," he added.
