Munawar Faruqui REACTS To Sunil Pal Calling His Comedy ‘Vulgar’; ‘You Said Aukaat Nahi Hai Meri, Bana Lenge’
Standup- comedian Munawar Faruqui has been grabbing eyeballs ever since he won the popular reality show 'Lock Upp'. He has been very vocal about his journey and struggles on the show in media interviews. Recently, Faruqui conducted a live session on his Instagram account to interact with his fans and followers. During the interactive session, he talked about many things including comedian Sunil Pal's nasty 'vulgar comedy' comment on him. For the unversed, at the time of Lock Upp’s premiere, Sunil had graced the show and had called Faruqui’s comedy ‘vulgar.’

Now, Munawar has reacted to it and stated that he respects and loves comedy as much as he does. It is wrong to say that comedy is in danger because of him. He also mentioned that although everyone has a right to express their opinions, he fails to understand why the Great Indian Laughter Challenge feels this way about him.

Munawar Faruqui said, “Sunil Pal bhai toh chalu hi ho gaye they, band hi nahi ho rahe they. Kya bhadke huye they mere pe. Main bola, ‘Sunil bhai, maine tumhara kya bigada hai yar.” He added, “I respect and love comedy as much as you do. Please don't say that comedy is in danger because of me. You have a right to your opinion. We all can save comedy together. Your way is different, mine is different. When you came on stage, you must have felt I was disrespecting but I was not. Even if you think I did, I didn't mean it. You said ‘aukaat (worth)’ nahi hai meri, aukaat bana lenge.” ALSO READ: Lock Upp Winner Munawar Faruqui Is DATING This Mystery Girl? For the unversed, Sunil Pal during Lock Upp premiere had targetted Munwar, calling him a 'vulgar' comedian. Not just that, he indirectly called him a ‘terrorist’. Sunil had said, “Waise toh aatankwadi ko bhi nahi lagta hai ki main galat nahi kar raha hoon. Uske bhi apne followers hote hain (terrorists also think they aren’t doing anything wrong and also have followers).”

Meanwhile, Munawar Faruqui is speculated to participate in Rohit Shetty's adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, which is all set to go on floors in Cape Town, South Africa.
