During an episode of Bigg Boss 14, contestant Aly Goni accused fellow contestant Vikas Gupta of taking away opportunities from many and giving it away to his own friends and ones who support him. Aly also said that Vikas was the one who spread fake rumours about Jasmin Bhasin and him. Gupta denied all the allegations made at him. Reacting to it, Vikas called Aly’s accusations ‘fake’. Since a few days, rumours are rife that Gupta helped Rashami Desai bag the role of Shalaka in Naagin 4. Rashami Desai finally reacted to allegations of Vikas Gupta helping her to get a role in the show Naagin 4.
The Bigg Boss 13 fame denied all accusations made at her and said Gupta had nothing to do. Speaking with the Times of India, Rashami Desai expressed shock and said, "My landing the role of Shalakha had nothing to do with Vikas Gupta. It was a decision completely taken by the channel and production house. I don't know from where such rumours have emerged.”
Talking about Vikas Gupta and their bond further, Desai added, “Vikas is a friend and that's why I am fond of him and no other reason." Reportedly, a source revealed that Vikas was also responsible for Jasmin’s exit from Naagin 4. The source had shared that "since Vikas helped Rashami, she has grown fond of him and supporting him in Bigg Boss 14.”
Meanwhile, Naagin 4 went off air after the Coronavirus pandemic emerged. Due to the lockdown, the show was pulled off air. The makers launched a new season of the show starring Sharad Malhotra, Mohit Sehgal and Surbhi Chandna.
