Newly-Married Gauahar Khan Admits To NOT Doing 'Bold Scenes' For The Heck Of It; Says, 'Have My Lines Drawn'
The stunning Gauahar Khan broke millions of hearts after tying the knot with her beau Zaid Darbar. The duo got hitched amid a fairytale-like wedding in the presence of all their near and dear ones. On the professional front too, Gauahar is in a good space with Ali Abbas Zafar's web show Tandav being her next project. Now, in an interview with HT, the actress showered praises on the OTT boom, while also revealing how she has rejected certain web shows because she doesn't want to do bold scenes just for the heck of it.

Gauahar said she had to decline most of the offers coming her way because of the bold content. “And I am clear that I won’t do such scenes for the heck of it. My job as an actor is to deliver and do justice to the character I am portraying. But yes, I do have my lines drawn, especially when it comes to the kind of content I want to associate with. I’ll not be crossing the line just for the need of wanting to be a part of the show," stated the actress.

Khan continued, “All those roles that came to me, I felt they weren’t something which I could deliver to with all my heart. So, I had to say no to them, irrespective of how big the project was. As an artiste, I know I am supposed to deliver to the audience with complete conviction, but then there are certain things like being explicit or too bold on screen, which I am not at all comfortable doing. Hence, I have made my choice accordingly."

Tandav also stars Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Sunil Grover among others in pivotal roles. It's a nine-part series that will release on Amazon Prime on January 15.
