Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 4 starring Nia Sharma and Rashami Desai in the lead is among the highest TRP rakers. However, of late, there have been reports suggesting that the show is coming to an abrupt end. Star Vijayendra Kumeria too confirmed the same saying that the show with be wrapped up post the lockdown. The reason for the same is said to be budget constraints. However, the creative director of the show, Mukta Dhond, has rubbished the news of the show coming to an end. In fact, she stated that new twists lay ahead for the viewers in Naagin 4.
In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Mukta stated that we will get to see Nia Sharma is a new avatar once the show begins. She stated that a new cast will be brought in and there will be an interesting twist to the story. "Well, we are not shutting the fourth season. We have something big planned for our avid viewers of Naagin. When the show returns, it will come back with a bang where you will see Nia Sharma like never before in the show. We have a huge highpoint in store for our fans. The suspense related to lal tekri mandir raaz that we have been building from the beginning will soon be revealed. There is something bigger and powerful than naagmani. The show will continue to be called Naagin- Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel and it’s not getting over. Few characters will eventually be out of the show and new characters will be introduced. In short one story will end and another one will start."
Further, she also clarified on Nia Sharma and Rashami Desai's exit from the show. Mukta stated that their exit has nothing to do with budget and eventually it was going to happen on the basis of the storyline. She called them 'family' and that they'll have happy to collaborate in the future. (Also Read: Rashami Desai Will Not Be A Part Of Naagin 4 Once Shoot Resumes- EXCLUSIVE)
