Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 6 has been making headlines ever since it was announced. Fans have been speculating who will play the lead role in the sixth season of the show. From Rubina Dilaik, Mouni Roy to Mahira Sharma, many names have come up. But according to the latest report in TellyChakkar, Tejasswi Prakash, who is currently seen in Bigg Boss 15, has been confirmed to play the lead in Ekta Kapoor's show.
Ekta Kapoor has not made any official announcement yet. Fans are eagerly waiting for it. Previously, during Ekta's appearance on Bigg Boss 15, she did not reveal the name of the lead actress but gave fans a hint that the actor who would be in the lead has the letter "M" as her name initial. Besides that, she also revealed that the show will air on January 30. This gave rise to speculation that Mahira Sharma is the new Naagin. A couple of days ago, Ekta Kapoor shared a post on Instagram refuting all the rumours of her finalising the cast and even asked fans to give her names. She wrote, "NOT YET CAST FOR #NAAGIN6! Asking all u guys for ur suggestions! Just recovered from COVID but admist bad muscle spasm n stomach infection head some names who r 'confirmed' Arey bhai/behn no names r even approached or approved! Ur suggestions guys!"
Talking about Tejasswi Prakash, she is one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 15. The actress will be competing against Karan Kundrra, Shamita Shetty, Rakhi Sawant, Rashami Desai, Pratik Sehajpal and Nishant Bhat to win the prize money and the trophy. Bigg Boss 15 grand finale will take place on 29th and 30th January.
