Shark Tank India judge Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, enjoys a huge fan following on her social media handles. Ever since her stint on the business reality show, she has built a connection with her audience, who are eager to know more about her personal life as well as professional. On Sunday, she had taken to her official handle to share a video of her hosting a fancy tea party for her girlfriends.
From laying out the delicious snacks on a table to taste-testing them, she included lots of snippets from her weekend in the video. Her food stylist and chef, Shambhu Sharan too was seen in the video as he was presenting her with a plate of food. Namita looked gorgeous in her sleeveless printed blue dress. Sharing the video on Instagram, she wrote, “Weekend tea with my girl friends is always so therapeutic, check out my fun home made goodies!”
While fans went gaga over her post, a section of the internet brutally trolled her for showing off her wealth. One wrote, “Humare mei samose ke paise kon dega usi pe ladai chal ryi abhi tak.” Another one wrote, “Blatant show of wealth and wastage . Because your people are health conscious too.” Other one wrote, “AAP kha rhe ho theek h pr dikha ke humko kyu jala rhe.” One said, “Yea sahi hai koi or bannye, koi or plate kare or aap bas hath hilao, or yea el chew taste kese pata chal jata hai??” Another one said, “Namita aunty , akele akele.”
Talking about Shark Tank India, the show is the Indian franchise of the American show of the same name, where known entrepreneurs listen to different business ideas and decide whether or not they want to invest in those ideas. The makers of the show have started preparing for the third instalment of the reality show.
