Nehha Pendse Replaces Saumya Tandon On Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain; Says She Would Be A 'COWARD' To Fear The Virus And Sit At Home
Nehha Pendse celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Shardul Bayas, made an announcement of ending her sabbatical. As per her interaction with ETimes TV, she has confirmed of replacing Saumya Tandon in popular TV show, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain. Reasoning about why she gave a nod to the TV show, she shared of fear to venture out has lowered now with the vaccine being announced, making the most of this opportunity made most sense. Also sitting back at home now would be like a coward.

She said, “Yes I am doing Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, but the fear is less now. Till September, there was a fear of the unknown. We didn't know how to handle it, unlike now. Even Shardul had said I should take up something only if the opportunity was worth giving my life for. Today, India is doing well in terms of numbers and the herd immunity is increasing. Iske aage if I fear and sit at home, I would be a coward. The vaccines are also round the corner.”

Also speaking about sanitation and hygiene, she shared trusting her producers Benaifer and Sanjay Kohli being responsible enough. The trio had collaborated for the TV show, May I Come In Madam. “Also, I visited the set once and the sanitisation and hygiene is to be seen to be believed. The producers, Benaifer and Sanjay Kohli are very responsible people. I have worked with them before and have a very god bonding with them from the time I did 'May I Come In Madam?' for them,” added Neha.

Also when quizzed about if she met the former actress Saumya Tandon, whom she is replacing, she added, “Not personally, but I have worked with her in 'Comedy Circus'. However, I haven't interacted with her much.”
