Actor Nia Sharma along with her friends Ravi Dubey, Arjun Bijlani, Neha Bijlani and more are currently in Dubai, having a gala time at Opa restaurant. The actor took to her Instagram reels and dropped a video where she was seen performing a traditional dance and smashing plates with her Jamai Raja co-star Ravi Dubey. But why are they smashing plates? Well, for the unversed, it is a Greek tradition that is usually symbolised new beginnings while some believed it is to ward off evil spirits.
In the video, wearing a sexy white tube top and white pants, Nia seemed to be enjoying the moment of smashing plates on the floor thoroughly. In fact, her video also shows how the waiter smashes a bowl of chocolate on the plate. While they indulge themselves in this tradition, we also hear all of them scream ‘opa’ which is also the restaurant’s name. Sharing the fun video on her Insta feed, Nia captioned it as, “And In the end just say ‘OPA’aaaaaaaaa @shagun08 @arjunbijlani @ravidubey2312 @amrin15 @nehaswamibijlani”

Meanwhile, earlier, a similar video of Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma went viral on social media. In the video, Arpita happily and unapologetically was seen breaking plates while dancing around with her friends. Well, the tradition in the Greek restaurant does look pretty interesting.
