We have been hit with the second wave of Coronavirus, and vaccination has become the need of the hour. The registration process for the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination began on April 28, and it permitted all those above the age of 18 to get vaccinated. The third phase of the vaccination drive in India is all set to commence on May 1, and a lot of Bollywood celebrities urged people to register and get vaccinated. Now, Nia Sharma has reacted to celebrities asking people to ‘go get vaccinated’.
While Nia Sharma mentioned that it is important to get vaccinated, and we need to get vaccinated, she questioned the ‘woke’ celebrities, asking them to also mention which centers the vaccines are readily available in. She tweeted, “Every woke celebrity of this nation urging people to get vaccinated...Kindly mention the name of the centers that have it readily available at this moment so that people queuing up in thousands for days now don’t look stupid. P.S we need to get vaccinated.”
In her Instagram stories, she shared a screenshot of her tweet and also added celebrities to slow down with their ‘sanctimonious talk.’ “Until then please slow down with your sanctimonious talk of 'go get vaccinated'” wrote Nia. Check out her tweet and Instagram story below.
