Now, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa only once a week
Unlike its previous seasons, the 9th instalment of the reality show will not be a bi-weekly
Colors’ popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is ready with its 9th season. But this time, the show will be aired just once a week -- either Saturday or Sunday.
With India’s Got Talent – its telecast at 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays -- all set to end today, Jhalak is likely to fill up the slot on one of the days.
Even as the broadcaster has made a decision in this regard, many questions remain: With just one episode per week, will eliminations become a fortnightly affair? Also, is Jhalak being made a weekly telecast so that another show can be accommodated?
We guess, the answers will be out soon.
Season 9 will be judged by Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The participants include Gaurav Gera, Arjun Bijlani, Surveen Chawla, Karishma Tanna, Helly Shah, Shakti Arora, Nora Fatehi, Siddhant Gupta, Shantanu Maheshwari, Salman Yusuf Khan, Priyanka and Poonam Shah and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
