Actor Jasmin Bhasin is a popular name in the Television industry with many hit shows to her credit. She also gained a lot of fame and popularity after she participated in Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss 14. But did you know that after her exit from the show, she received rape and death threats? Shocked right? Jasmin made this explosive revelation in a new interview during the promotions of her song ‘Sajaunga Lutkar Bhi.’ The actress revealed that all this affected her mentally and thus she took medical help to come out of it.
Speaking with News18, the Dil Se Dil Tak actress mentioned that not just trolling people also hurled abuses at her when she was evicted from the Bigg Boss house. Just because a certain section of people did not like her in the show, she received death and rape threats. Jasmin was quoted saying, “What I faced was very serious. All of that affected me mentally at some point. The actress also spoke about dealing with online trolling and said she has reached at a point where she has learned how to ignore trolls. She added that if people hate her that’s their choice and they can express it but she would remain unaffected by this.
Meanwhile, Bhasin has teamed up with her rumoured boyfriend and dear friend Aly Goni for the music video ‘Sajaunga Lutkar Bhi’, which is a recreation of RD Burman’s old iconic number. The romantic track has been sung by popular singers Shaan and Neeti Mohan and the lyrics are written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and Kunaal Vermaa. The song was released yesterday, 29th August on the Saregama Music YouTube channel.
