Tanishaa Mukerji might have failed to make a mark on the audience with her versatile performances like her mother Tanuja and her sister Kajol, but she has garnered a loyal fanbase due to her participation in reality shows. She is currently winning the hearts of the audience with her dance in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Not only are the judges left in awe of her improvement, but even the fans are left impressed. During the upcoming episode of the show, she will be seen performing on Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye, dedicating the act to her pet dog Leo who is currently unwell.
The 45-year-old actress will leave everyone impressed with her performance and judges Malaika Arora and Farah Khan will also compliment her for her emotional act. While talking about it she will share a personal anecdote from her life and recall the time she had slipped into a coma after getting into an accident. Tanishaa shared that she was traveling to Manali with the cast and crew of her debut movie Sssshhh in 2003, when they had met with an accident.
Recalling the experience, she shared that everyone was injured and had fractures. However, since she fell out of the car and went underneath it she had a severe concussion. Sharing that her mother thought she had literally died, the doctors had told Mukerji that she wouldn’t be able to continue shooting. The makers were so adamant on keeping her as their female lead, that they refused to continue shooting the movie with her. It took them a year to complete the shoot of the film. The actress revealed her pet dog Maxx at that time was always by her side when she was recovering.
For the unversed, the 11th season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa sees celebrities like Shiv Thakare, Anjali Anand, Tanishaa Mukerji, Aamir Ali, Sangeeta Phogat, Shoaib Ibrahim, Urvashi Dholakia, Vivek Dahiya, Sreeram Chandra, Karuna Pandey, Adrija Sinha, Rajiv Thakur as contestants.
