Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal Bids Adieu To The Show; Says, ‘Pata Hee Nahi Chala Waqt Kaise Beet Gaya’
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal took to social media to pen a heartfelt note as she says goodbye to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Produced by Asit Kumarr Modi, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been making the headlines for all the wrong reasons. From Shailesh Lodha making allegations about impending payments against the makers to actresses like Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, Monika Bhadoriya and Priya Ahuja Rajda accusing the makers of mental and physical harassment, the netizens were shocked as many requested the producer to shut the show. The bad publicity around the show reached new heights when after teasing Dayaben’s return on the show, the makers did not fulfill their promise like usual. This led to the fans trending Boycott TMKOC on social media. Now amid it all they have introduced a new Mrs Roshan Sodhi.
As the makers introduced Monaz Mevawalla as Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi, Bansiwal who previously played the character penned a heartfelt goodbye to the show. Expressing her gratitude for getting a chance of being a part of the serial for more than a decade she shared a compilation of photos with the cast. Taking to Instagram, she wrote that her journey with TMKOC has three parts, when she first joined in 2008, when she rejoined after her delivery in 2016, and when she left the show in 2023. Fans and admirers took to the comment section of her post to shower her with love and adoration. Many even expressed how she will truly be missed as she had made a mark on them with her acting. For the unversed, in June, Jennifer had filed a complaint against Modi, operation head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj with the Mumbai Police accusing them of sexual and mental harassment. While there has been no update on the case, actress Priya Ahuja Rajda and Monika Bhadoriya along with former director of the show Malav Rajda came out to support her.
