Uorfi Javed breaks silence on the reports that stated she was detained by the Dubai police for wearing revealing clothes in the public during the shoot of her Instagram reels
Instagram star Uorfi Javed has made a name for herself because of her fashion statements. Even after being criticized online for wearing her ‘best out of waste’ clothing, she is proud of what she does. The Bigg Boss OTT star is currently busy shooting in Dubai for an upcoming project. She recently made the headlines when the reports of her being detained by the Police for wearing a revealing outfit in public.
Dismissing the reports, Uorfi has shared a clarification on that matter. According to a statement released by the internet sensation, the shoot for her video was due to logistical issues. Quoted by News18, shae said, “The police had arrived to stop the shoot because of some issues at the location. There was a time till when we were allowed to shoot as it was a public place, the production team didn’t extend the timing, hence we had to leave. It had nothing to do with my clothes at all. For the unversed, it was being heavily reported that Uorfi was taken into custody for wearing a revealing outfit in public while shooting video for her Instagram reels. As per the report by E-times, a source claimed, “She had shot a video for her Instagram in an outfit made by her, which was revealing as per the people here in Dubai. The fact that there is no problem with the outfit but where she shot the video was an open area and they don’t consider it to be allowed to wear what she wore. She is being questioned by the police. The actress, who has been a part of multiple television serials like Meri Durga, Bepannaah, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay among many others, has been subjected to negative criticism and trolling for a long time, so much so that the young starlet has also received rape and death threats from strangers online. Recently, she had taken to her social media handle to exposed her former property broker for calling her and threatening to kill her.
