Harshad Chopda is one of the most sought-after actors that we have in the TV industry. After winning hearts with his stint in shows like ‘Left Right Left’, ‘Tere Liye’, ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’ and 'Bepannah' to name a few, Harshad is currently seen playing the role of Dr. Abhimanyu Birla in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. It goes without saying that the handsome actor enjoys a massive fan following among female fans. Harshad can make any girl go weak in the knees with his dapper looks.
While his female fans are quite curious to know about Harshad’s relationship status, we have got you exciting news. Harshad Chopda is single and wants to fall in love in love. When asked if there is a special someone in his life, the actor shared with us, “I’m very much single. I myself want to know why I’m still single (Laughs). Hope it changes soon. I want to fall in love, date, get married.”
Further, talking about taking up 'YRKKH', Chopda stated, “Rajan sir briefed me about the character, which I liked, and he liked my audition. Everything was smooth as if it was meant to be. I had met Rajan sir during Bidaai when I was doing Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. I couldn’t be a part of Bidaai, but we were in touch. At that time also Yeh Rishta… was on air. I haven’t watched the show but I am aware of what was happening in it. I was promised a new show. I have been delivered a new show.”
Speaking about his character Abhimanyu he adds, “He is a man with zero personal life experience. When I say zero experience, I mean he has worldly experience like he has been too good schools and colleges, knows his work, and even does well at the hospital. There was something to play and I felt like I wanted to do that character. The way it has been written and the scope it has is interesting. So, all these actually attracted me to take this role up. Playing Abhimanyu feels like I am giving my own to the character and I think the character is shaping me.”
He further said that YRKKH is his 10th show and that it’s not a conscious decision to take a break of two-three years after every show, the reason is lack of good opportunity. “I’m a workaholic and initially, when I didn’t get the work of my choice, I would go berserk. But then I realised work is not just about what you’re doing outside, but inwards as well. So every time a show gets over, I work on myself. I try and learn new things. Like I’ve learned swimming, horse riding, yoga, guitar, drums and so on,” Harshad reveals.
Harshad Chopda summed up by saying that he is not very keen to do reality shows. The actor opines, “I’m a very boring person in real life. Plus I’ve social media platforms to reach out to my fans and don’t need a reality show to do that.
