Paras Chhabra and Akanksha Puri called it quits a long time ago. However, they once again made it to the headlines after the Indian actress and model was seen in Bigg Boss OTT season 2. The actress made waves as she got candid about her past relationship with Paras and he has now finally reacted to Akanksha’s statements.
While Paras was in the Bigg Boss House, the actor made a slew of revelations about Akanksha and his closeness to Mahira Sharma, which raised many questions amongst the fans. Recently, Akanksha, who was seen in the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, told her fellow contestants that she never received closure from Paras.
During a recent interview with Times of India, Paras Chhabra was asked why Akanksha felt the need for closure in their past relationship. He mentioned that fans and friends had been sending him videos of the episode where Akanksha mentioned this need for closure. He also went on to state that his relationship ended three to four years ago, and he is done with it. Further, Paras added that he doesn't wish to talk about his past relationships. He said, "Why does Akanksha Puri need closure from me? Yes, I did get a lot of clips about that episode of Akanksha from my fans and friends. Our relationship was over three-four years back and it is done and dusted. Waise toh I do not intend to talk about my exes, especially Akanksha Puri, since everything is over from my side, but since once again the topic was raised and a lot of people were inquisitive to know my side of the story, I chose to reply."
Further in the conversation, Paras shared that he was surprised to see Akanksha talking about him even after winning Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti. He also talked about the red shoes incident that happened when he was inside the BB house.
For those unaware, during his time in BB house, Akanksha had claimed to be handling his expenses, sending him clothes and expensive shoes, including the red shoes.
Reacting to the same, Paras revealed that the shoes gifted by Akanksha costing a whopping 80 thousand, and were actually a part of a collaboration. He said, "I am surprised that after becoming a winner of a show like Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti she is still talking about me. Interestingly, not many people know that the red shoes that Akanksha had gifted to me when I was in the Bigg Boss 13 house and she had claimed them to be worth 80 thousand, were actually a collab-shoe made by some random guy." The Vighnaharta Ganesh actor also broke the silence about Akanksha and Jad Hadid's kissing controversy and mentioned that initially, she didn't want to get close to him, but later, she got intimate with him.
Calling Akanksha ‘manipulative’, Paras revealed that his ex-girlfriend has been using his name and their relationship on the show, but he wants to end the chapter forever.
Paras Chhabra continued, "According to me, she has been quite manipulative. Even on Bigg Boss OTT, she initially said she didn't want to get close to Jad Hadid and later she kissed him only. She has been using my name and our past on shows and interviews but I want to end this chapter now."

Paras revealed that now he is able to make friends, which is not possible when he is in a relationship, stating he has realized that he's not meant for it. However, the actor said that he believes in the institution of marriage and will get married, when he meets the right person.
