Paras Chhabra Says He And Asim Riaz Ended Their Past Enmity After Sidharth Shukla's Tragic Demise: ‘Sid Reunited Us From Up There’
Paras Chhabra has shared that he and Asim Riaz are friends again, because of Sidharth Shukla’s death that made them realise life is too short to hold grudges.
Paras Chhabra, who shared a great bond with the late Sidharth Shukla, has revealed that he and Asim Riaz have buried their past enmity and are friends again. Not to forget, the two were always at loggerheads during their stay inside the Bigg Boss 13 house. That's where both came close to Sidharth Shukla, who later won the show. However, the sudden demise of Sidharth made Paras and Asim realise that no issue is so big in life that it cannot be resolved. Thus, they have ended their past animosity against each other.
While speaking with Etimes, Chhabra revealed that he met Asim for the first time at Sidharth’s house after Bigg Boss 13. And the moment they saw each other, both couldn't control their emotions and hugged each other, forgetting their past rivalry.
“The moment Asim and I saw each other, we couldn't control our emotions and hugged each other. Asim in fact said ki milna toh tha but aise nahi milna tha humein. It is at that very moment that we decided that we shouldn't be keeping any animosity against each other and should be back to being friends. We also vowed to be in touch and to meet each other often,” Paras Chhabra was quoted as saying.
He added, “We both realised that no issue is so big in life that it cannot be resolved. Both of us took the first step towards each other at Sidharth's place. Paras Chhabra also stated that from Sidharth’s tragic demise they have learned that life is too short to hold grudges with one another.
“Asim and I have spent a good time inside the Bigg Boss house together and both of us were close to Sidharth,” Paras concluded.
Sidharth Shukla’s funeral was no less than a Bigg Boss 13 reunion with all the contestants together under one roof. It was a reunion that nobody ever wanted. His last rites were held at Oshiwara crematorium, Mumbai on September 3.
Besides his family, fans, and close friends, all of his Bigg Boss 13 housemates - Shehnaaz Gill (his lady love), Asim Riaz, Arti Singh, Rashami Desai, Hindustani Bhau, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Paras Chhabra, and Mahira Sharma arrived to pay their last respects. Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli visited Sidharth's house on the day of his demise.
