South actress Sanjjanaa Galrani, who was also a co-contestant in Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill swayamvar based reality show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, was arrested by Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru (CCB) after the investigating authority probed Kannada film industry's links with the drugs. Now a video of Sanjjana refusing blood test has gone viral. It so happened when Galrani reached hospital for the dope test and she dramatically refused to give her blooad samples. In the short clip, Galrani is seen wearing a pink top. She said her laywers had told her to not give samples.
In the viral video, Sanjjanaa Galrani is seen arguing with doctors and CCB officials, “I have lost my confidence in the police. I don’t know why I have been arrested. You are not telling me the reason. Even if I give blood tests I don't trust that the blood will be mine. My lawyers told me No. It's my fundamental right to say no. Nobody can force me to give blood samples. You people have made me a fool and bought me here. There is no evidence against me, I didn't do anything wrong. Just because we spoke to each other over the phone doesn't mean that I am involved in the crime. I can say no to give blood samples. My lawyer has told me. Every day I am asking you all, why you bought me here.”
Earlier, Joint Commissioner of Police, crime, Sandeep Patil, told Times Of India, “On Thursday, like the others who are under custody, actresses Sanjjanaa and Ragini Dwivedi too underwent dope tests. This is part of the procedure in investigating a case like this.”
Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty too has been arrested by the NCB in the drug-probe in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. This afternoon, the actress along with brother Showik bail plea was rejected by the session court, Mumbai.
